Im no longer depressed

So about two weeks ago I got some tickets. 5 to be exact. One for going 70 in a 45. One for wreckless driving, One for exessive display of horsepower, One for no proof of insurance, and another for an aftermarket exaust. I first want to say that Some police officers are Jerks. I plead and got four of the five dismissed. The one for speeding because the cop listed two different speeds, I showed proof of insurance, and a receipt showing i got my exhaust removed haha ya right. So any ways its all good. I have to take driving school and as longas i stay out of trouble for 90 days ill be alright.

Just wanted to talk about how lame New Mexico is for a minute. I careless or reckless driving carries worse fines and charges then a DWI. Careless driving its a automatic suspension for of your lisence for one year. DWI first offense is a one year probation for a deffered sentence which means it doesnt go on your record. How lame is that. Its a wonder why New Mexico is the US worst in DWI related deaths and accidents!

I can understand you getting 1 ticket and calling officers jerks. But when you get 5 tickets in a short period of time, you just might be pushing it.

It's not lame at all. Look at it this way. What would you punish more? Someone who endangered others while their judgment was impaired, or someone who endangered others knowingly while their judgment was completely intact?

Okay two tickets were lame. One for no proof of insurance, and one for a exhaust? The other one he didnt know hoe fast I was going and he even listed two different speeds on the ticket. So how was he not being one? If I was driving a ranger it never would of happened

congratulations for getting most of your tickets dismissed.. what were you doing when you got tickets for excessive horsepower and reckless driving? Sounds like you had a run of bad luck.

I was taking my sis to soccor practice. I was in the middle lane behind a acr. When the light turned green I changed lanes to the right and went around the car back to the middle lane. I did signal cop said i didnt. Couldnt of been going faster the 50. Thats why they got dismissed. He messed up about his lie on the tickets.

Sounds like you probably deserved most of those tickets.

City streets are not your own personal race track.

Oh... i see you're 22. That explains a lot.

There are always exceptions to the rule. And if you're that exception, you'd understand where i'm coming from.
