sounds to me like you already made your decision since you are talking about plans for the G35....i was in the same boat....evo or g35.....the more i thought about it the more i wanted the g35 but then i drove a evo and i fell in love.... then my friend sold me his 375whp evo then i said HAHA going evo! anyways its all down to what you want in a car....the g35 is a badass car dont get me wrong but the evo is special......there is just something about the car that a g35 cant do and thats be FUN....the evo is a fun car and while some may argue that the g35 looks nicer and rides smoother....well he can ride nice as you blow his doors off go with your gut feeling its all down to what you want in a car....if you want my vote i say EVO all the way

Maybe i need to get my evo looking like this so i can be happy. I think these wheels look best on a TB evo.

 

I traded a 05 G35 MT6 for an EVO IX MR. The only two things I miss are the outside temperature gauge and the radio controls on the steering wheel.

The MR rides smoother and has a lot less squeaks and rattles than my G did.

i was actually lookin at g35's when i bought my evo but none were availible in the area

 

my brother has a Z and my cousin has a G. the G is no doubt a cushier car. is it slower? just barely, but it "feels" slower. it also "feels" bigger and sloppier. but it looks better then the Z in my opinion.
if you mostly cruise from A to B in your evo and rarely drive it like it was meant to be driven then i say go for the G. if you want to go F/I with the VQ, i suggest the APS tt kit. most complete, well rounded and engineered tt kit for the VQ.

i say get rid of the Evo... the reason is because i love Evo's and i dont want anyone else to have one besides me, plus. there is a 350z Twin turbo here in town and he talked cr@p about my car all the time saying" i dont car if he does have a stage 1 kit on his car, i will still smoke that Evo."

well we took them out and ran them........ I beat him by like 4 cars. No one could believe it. they were like holy SH*T, i cant believe your Evo beat him. I laughed took his 200.00 that we raced for and got in my car and drove away. The reason i was laughing wasnt because i won, it was because I am smart...I ACTUALLY have the Stage 4 kit from Buschur racing with the HKS 272 cams and race front mount... he never asked what i had he was just going by information from a friend. and he never wanted to look under the hook... i was surprized he didnt hear the car's idle and think something was up... And that is why my back window shield says "V-8 Killa"
