Boost Gauge Installation Question

Has anyone with a IX MR that has a factory boost gauge tapped into the line going to the back of the gauge? It would seem much easier to tap that line when adding another boost gauge since the line is right there in the cabin.

I personally have not done, but my buds didn't do it simply because they didn't want the possibility of leaks... I'm sure it will work.. IMO

Though I don't have a IX, I do have stock Mitsu gauges and taped into that vac line for an additional guage, just make sure you zip tie all connections at the T.

Are you planning on using the factory boost gauge in addition to an aftermarket gauge?
