Help me find a boost gauge pls

I have been planning on getting a DEFI D series black boost gauge and of course I waited way too long and now I'm screwed. Only a couple on ebay and those on here are few and sell quick. Is DEFI coming out with a new manual gauge soon? Anything that matches the Evo interior that is quality, not Autometer? I don't want to send the money on the BF series and have to get a controller.

I've used Apexi, Greddy and Autometer in the past and would I'm not interested those gauges unless they have a new model I am not aware of.

I've alreadly lost bids 2x on ebay, need something ASAP, help met out!

Thanks!

I dont think Defi is coming out with any new manual gauges anytime soon. The D series mechanical gauges are fairly new. Defi makes very high quality gauges though so going with the D is a good choice. It matches the interior pretty well too.

Thanks for the replys. I contacted Works and they are going to get back to me.

My problem is finding one, I agree that they are quality, although I heard a rumor that DEFI had more returns then they were expecting for warranties. I still want a D boost gauge if I can find one, but used might be a risk.

Maybe I should start a poll on gauges.

I was going to go with a Defi D, but I found these for half the price and look just as good, I decided to go with them. Matching the dash (red at night) is a bonus too!

I'm really pleased with the VDO gauge that I bought. Quite suprised actually. I bought the one that reads in psi and has the black face. It's far superior to the Autometer Phantom gauge that I'm running in my suby... no suprise there.

I'm assuming that you equate the low cost of a VDO to cheaply built but, it really is very fluid and accurate. It just doesn't cost $180 or so.... just around $40.

I kind of figure that if major manufacturers choose to use them in their performance cars (BMW, Mitsubishi, Subaru, etc.) then they must have a certain level of confidance with VDO. My old M Coupe had them, Evo's equipped with the meter package come with the boost gauge that reads in bar... and it's kind of small, but whatever. My aftermarket 52mm VDO works super for me and my IX. Looks factory as well and I do place some weight in that. I don't like gaudy looking things at all.
