I've got a mig welder, I can definitely make your EVO a two door.

 

I disagree. The problem isnt the car its the puke green paint they did it with. Put that same car in black white or silver and I guarantee it will be the sickness. Anybody bored and want to photoshop it up?

 

I have to agree that the two door EVO looks fantastic (other than the green paint that Norris used). Not to mention the fact that it could shave a couple hundred pounds off the car. The four door is more practical though...

 

I've fit 6 people in my car. Try and do that in any other car with this much performance.

the reason why i decided on the evo was cause it was 4 door. Just being able to pick up friends and not haveing to take 3 cars to get everyone there is great.

I meant a true chop, encompassing taking out the whole rear door assemboly and replacing it with new sheet metal and windows...people here were just joking about welding the rear doors because that would look plain retarded. It would still be a 4 door sedan, just with rear doors that cant open.

As far as I know the ralliart eclipse is just a concept and hasn't even been talked about being produced. And as for my opinion the 4 door is soo much nicer than a 2 door. This is my first 4 door and I am absolutely loving the power and the extra space.

Actually, from a structural stability standpoint 4-door sedans are stiffer than 2-door coupes. The doors on a coupe tend to be a lot longer = bigger holes in the frame. So even though I don't really use the second pair of doors on the Evo for anything, they don't bother me much either. If you really don't care about them, replace them with CF ones, rip out the rear seats, and put a roll bar in - if you put a net on the bar you'll even have a space for your dog LOL.

 

Yea I was just making a funny about welding the doors shut. Ive seen alot of 4dr track cars with welded rear doors
