switch the clutch and gas so you use opposite feet for gas and clutch, imgaine that i bet it get the job done. when i had a broken leg i got cabin fever went nuts and rigged up some push rod type thing to the clutch pushed it in with my left hand turning and shifting was tricky but when your stuck inside for a few months times get desperate

Its definately posible to fit an Automatic transmission into the Evo, but the problem is cost ( tranny, ecu, install) and the fact that the X would come with an Auto as an option.

Those brake diameter listing have to be a misprint. The GT-A had a smaller turbo and/or less power, it would not then have bigger brakes, and even so not that big. 17" rotors will not fit behind 17" wheels.

Maybe an Outlander AWD trans can be swapped in place on a U.S. Evo. After being beefed up of course.

Oh, I know, it's just funny a misprint in an official Mitsubishi statement could have gone unchanged for so very long.

4. Driveline
GT-A uses the INVECS-II Sport-Mode 5-speed automatic transmission that has been honed and refined to perfection in the Mitsubishi Galant VR-4. Gear ratios have been optimized for GT-A.
On GT-A, Sport-Mode enables the enthusiast driver to shift through the gears using either the manual gate or, for the first time in a Mitsubishi car, thumb-operated selectors located on the lateral spokes of the steering wheel.
GT-A features Mitsubishi's own all-wheel control system comprising ACD (Active Center Differential), AYC (Active Yaw Control) and Sports ABS components that bring dramatic improvements to dynamic performance. Optimized for the automatic transmission, these advanced components bring easy- and fun-to-drive performance to a wider range of drivers.
