The is350 has probably one of the most perfect interiors I've been in (IMO). It's not really complex and everything seems to be just in the right place... even the dash gauge lights are beautifully colored. If the Evo had that interior, it would be my "perfect" car (maybe the IX ). Enjoy whatever you move on to.

 

nice choice of replacement. only downside is that only the 250 comes in manual

sad to hear u're gone. like everybody, i'd dump the gf before i dump the Evo. though i suspect u're not telling us the entire reason for ur getting rid of the Evo, but it's up to u if u want to share ur personal decisions with a buncha strangers on an internet forum

You guys will understand when you have had a "successful" marriage for several years (going on 13 years). In some of your cases yes it is probably easier to dump a girl friend than a wife/mother of your children. My wife is a great women and actually she would let me get anything I wanted (some of my past cars include Integra GSR, M3, Supra Turbo) The Evo was and is a great car, but I have outgrown it based upon my personal needs. In addition, I get sick of the young guys on the road coming up to me wanting to race every couple days. Not a thing I like to do on public roads especially when I have my kids in the car.

Example: Realized it was time to sell the car when an idiot in a brand new 06 STI followed me for 17 miles on the way home one night trying to race me and almost caused an accident because he kept trying to egg me on to race him. I waved him on but he would not leave it alone. Kinda of unnerving when your son is asleep in the back seat.
