Iam lost! i cant find a evo 7 wing nowhere i had my evo vii rs2 wing stolen off my car i called everywhere and the cheapest i found was $1499.00 thats unpainted and have to wait 8 weeks atleast. I went on uk evolution fourms and the cheapest i found was from som guy he want like $ 500.00 plus shipping which is about $200.00 + - so u guys can see the dilemia iam in so if anybody on here knows somebody that has one or where i can get one the help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED VERY MUCH iam looking for a factory rally red wing if i can used or new dosent matter. Or ive seen some aftermarket ones that u can buy for a reg lancer they says its a evo 7 wing but ive never seen one in person if anybody has pis that would be great, iam asking for help here iam usally quiet on here dont say much but iam lost and out of hope so if anyone here can help i appreciate it

 

Have you checked with some of our vendors? OEM is gonna cost you try somthing aftermarket.

 

yeah i checked them out i want stock i cant stand those aftermarket wings i rather look stock.

 

1500 hellz no. It should never be that much... ask the vendors

 

Just go wingless and put the funds into your Evo for some go- fast parts

 

I think he meant a "stock looking" aftermarket wing, not necessarily a GT style or something, but like a replica VII wing. But anyway, if you GOTTA have OEM stock, then you're most likely just going to have to pay. Good luck.

 

if the wing was stolen, shouldn't your insurance cover part of it?

 

+1, yeah If it's bolted on to your car, it has to be covered by insurance.

 

yeah well the sucky part about the insurance is that the car wasent insured when it happened now it is but they came out and took pics of the car when they covered the car because the car is from japan and they wanted pics of the car and list of what was done to it... dont even ask me how much i pay for coverage



oh and i found one aftermarket vendor and they want u to buy the whole kit just to get the wing i cant find no other vendors

Honestly what I would do if I was you is go wingless. Maybe get a CF trunk or just Have the holes from your wing filled in and painted. The Evo is a total sleeper w/out a wing. I may be taking mine off of my V/// soon just so it can be more of a sleeper.

 

Also, SilverMRGrl, sorry to hear about that happening to you. I know how it feels. I had a car stolen from me and it sucks. Good luck.

 

i agree with u about the total sleeper thing some cars look good without a wing but on a evo vii there badass i just like the way evo 7 looks especially the wing i like the evo 7 wing alot i just want to keep the evo 7 basically stock (somewhat stock) and iam trading in the 05 mr for a evo 9 mr and iam gonna mod that .
