i just had to jump in and say Thanks to the guys who stand up for some of us newbies who ask questions. bashing does make people feel bad and may make them go somewhere else. family can't grow if everyone leaves.........

your thinking of 1600 celsius **** will start to melt

heres a conversion Fahrenheit - 32 /9x5= celsius
wow... please no more from you. 900c and 1600f approx is about as high as you ever wanna take it, which means once you hit that number you back off... cuz by hte time your egt sensor ACTUALLY sends you the information MANY cycles have already elapsed.

also... water temp is a MUCH better way to monitor.

if anyone hits 2000f, their gauge is either "wasted" or thei engine is "wasted"
