Stereo question

Can you remove the stock double din cd player and replace it with your own single din and put say a plate to cover the other din slot?

Thanks!

What car? You drive ITR but you're asking this on an EVO Forum.

The Evo comes with a single din...not a double here in the states

yeah but i've got an aftermarket stereo (top of the line eclipse) so i'm sure that'd be heaps better than the stock stereo (well mine doesnt have the indash 6cd changer though - but at least it can play mp3s).....

if i put that in i still have an empty DIN.... was thinking of buying some sort of 'drawer' to fill in the space.... lol maybe even take out the drawer thing from my honda....
