i took it to a toyota dealership yesterday...they apraised it for 26000 for me...but they didnt drive it...if the papers get signed...can they come back at me for the problem?
I am glad you posted this. I will make sure to watch the dealership when they change any fluids on my car. Matter of fact, I may just do it myself that way I know its done right. I don't know if the warranty will cover the parts if I do the service though. Anyone know the answer to that?

. The two largest and most respected trans and transfercase rebuilders in the USA, Shepracing and TeamRip must never recommend Diaqueen
.Yeah and you don't have to disclose issues with properties either I suppose?

Sounds like the parts window gave you the new GL4 stuff that comes in a 55 gallon drum. The Diaqueen GL5 fluid comes in a can. The GL5 fluid goes into the transfer case and the rear differential while the GL4 stuff goes in the transmission. Sorry to have to break that news to you. I work at a dealership and I see that happen some times at the parts window. And as disgusted as I am, I realize that they don't hire the brightest bulbs in the parts departments. For future reference make sure you state EXACTLY what you need and if the parts counter guy gives you a frown, demand to speak to the parts department manager and if he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about, get out of there FAST.
