Of course not, but there's no reason to buy an Injen intake or piping to begin with...

I know the stock airbox can take up to 400whp, but wouldnt it be better to change to an aftermarket one? wouldnt the performance increase?

Not really - maybe a little. It's not worth the $400, though, that's for sure. It also only sucks in hot engine air while driving instead of cold, external air. I'm not sure why people get so infatuated with intakes - this isn't a Honda...

Ok, so what about keeping the stock catback and putting in an aftermarket Downpipe and high flow cat (plus a re-flash)? would the exhaust components (although keeping the stock catback) add significant power?

I need to stay as close to stock looking/sounding as possible

Whenever I search I just get a bunch of threads with the same question I have and then 4 pages of "search, noob!!!"

little help would be much appreciated.

Once you remove the cat, you are not going to have much of a stock sound imho. In any case, listen to what people are saying and keep the stock airbox unless you get the HKS RS. Any 3" tbe will do. Hell, I have the Apexi which is 2.75 I believe and even thats enough for the power I'm looking for.

NO way - that would be useless. A HFC gives almost nothing over a stock cat, and doing the downpipe with the stock cat-back in place will yield no power gains. You would get nothing from that except the headache of installing it.

Not sure why you can't just get a cat-back, since those are not a warranty concern, but if you can't get one, then just get a flash and be done. It will put you around 300whp with no detectable change to the car.
