where to buy cheap O2 sensor for evo IX

Hey guys does anyone know where you can get a cheap rear O2 sensor for the evo IX, i called up here at mitsu and they want around 420 for one. Also is the evo 8 sensor and the evo 9 the same? cause the dealership says it's not, but i don't see what the difference would be.

Is the sensor in the 02 Housing the same as the one after the cat?

The prices for the O2 sensors are rediculous. Are you looking for a front or rear?

I know the IX has the rear sensor in a different location, so I can see how they might be different, but I would really like to know if I can use a 2G one in the Evo, it's a whole lot cheaper.

For online prices try

Why do you need an o2 sensor so quick? Your car is new?

no sir i don't want to use leaded race gas, when i had my exhaust installed mitsu didn't put any anti-seize on the threads, so it got stripped out, so my rear o2 is bunked, that's why i need a new one.

I am not sure but I think the rear o2 sensor for the VIII and IX is the same. Plug might be different though.

Bump for answer to whether or not an Evo VIII rear sensor will work on the Evo IX.
