I disagree. The evo has been out for a while. Just not in the US. There are a lot of suspension parts already available.
If you re-read what I have wrote up there, you would see that I mentioned that part already. Still, from the US market point of view, EVO is a brand new car. The setup that it came here in the States is also brand new too! The thing is that it takes a lot of time (and money) to properly tune the car. Then there are so many different kind of racing and there is no ultimate setup that will work everywhere. DSMs have already gone that way and there is a lot experience behind them!

Also, do not judge an EVO if you have not driven it. In it's stock form, it is already great car. I had the same oppinion at first until I driven car. I have a lot of respect with DSMs tunability and it's great handling. It was a perfect substitute for the EVOs and still is.
Note one thing that I didn't really mentioned that much (if at all) handling of the EVO. I was rather concentrated on the handling of the DSMs. So, the same question goes for you - have you driven a well tuned DSM?

I hope that what I wrote up there doesn't sound like DSMs are better then EVOs. I have never said that and it wouldn't be right. I was just trying to point out that DSMs where not that bad and had some nice features in there too!

it's all good. And yes I have driven a highly tuned DSM. Actually helped build one.
