im serious tho i dont care about wear and gripI'm sure lots of ppl out there would get them for looks... so I'll probably get
some cash for them as well... perfect.

And also 99-100mph in a stock IX, puhlease you drive a IX you know our cars hit atleast 102mph in the 1/4 mile and that is in 4 gear.
The point of all this? I still liked the VIII's 4th gear just a little better.

btw I like the IX seats more then the VIII.

People always mention slipping in your seat with leather... but i have zero slippage. I'm 6'2" and 190lbs. I fill them nicely. lol.
my opnion is that the evo has been getting softer and softer in almost everything. the seats were stiff and nice in the 8 but the 9 came out and the seats got bigger just a little bit and the car is lookin nicer.... but it doesnt have that renta car look of an 03 8. i guess mitsu is tryin to justify us spending 30g plus on a car that does not have power seats heated mirrors or ne of that other crap. i only say that b/c that is wat i have heard from the the 2 local mitsus around my house. the true performance ppl on this site buy the evo for what it is but there r those ppl that buy it to be the guy that has the car that shows performance numbers in the mags. personaly i think if u r that worried about the seats being stiff u would have already gotten some carbon kevlar race seats.

I was so gung ho on getting the 9 seats but after finding out about the support/stiffness issue, I'll keep my 8's seats for better performance.

Just took a closer look at the IX seats...

Other than the center part, looks like the whole seat is wrapped in leather...???
Is it like that even on the RS model??
This is clearly marketed for US... only US buyers see leather as a must-have
sign of luxury...
Why does everything must "evolve"
backwards in order to sell here?
