C5's are new, the C6 is the new Vette. And for what it's worth you can get them for under $40k stripped down.

Wow, I know something you don't for once!

Okay, I don't usually come into the Evo forums since I don't own one, but I had to after I saw that price. I think that the only reason you came on here is to get some closure that your rich "friend" got the car you wanted, even if it was for a high price. You just had to exploit him on the internet, hear how people say he is so stupid, and then make yourself feel better knowing that people think he is stupid. This is just another case of rich parents buying a kid an Evo, only difference being it wasn't the Evo owner who posted this time. I have rich friends whose parents bought them STi's and Evo's but I don't come on here saying "my stupid friend got an Evo for stupid money."

Okay, I got a little more info from my friend, Nick (the guy with the Evo) was busy so I havent talked to him yet.
Jeff who is his best friend told me that he for sure put a $25,000 down payment, and he thinks that the 47 is with interest but he's not sure.
Even if it is with it, he still payed over $40,000 for his Evo even if that includes interest.
Lets pretend he got it for $37,000 and you take away $25,000 hes only left with $12,000 to pay, so you are trying to tell me that he is going to pay $10,000 interest on $12,000 loan?

Weather he actually payed $47,00 or not, he def, def, def payed a good amount of $40,000 for his Evo, which is still ****ing horrible.

As I get more info I will post.

Right right, listen here toddler, you obviously have no idea what ur talking about. In my orig post I never once called him stupid, and my question was how bad he got ****ed over, not how stupid he was.
"my stupid friend got an evo for stupid money" never came out of my mouth...

Make me feel better? You know NOTHING about me, I am getting an Evo within this year, I'm just trying to figure out if I need to pressure myself into getting one before the SE's come out. If you are actually logging onto these forums in a couple months, you will see pictures of my Evo.

BINGO! Any bets on how old these kids are? I'm guessing under 20 although that is older than they are acting.

I hate it when people come on EvoM talking about **** they don't have all the information about. This thread is a waste of space. Maybe get all the information next time before you try to make an a$$ out of someone. I am glad I don't have any friends like you!

Really? So I suppose you just started this thread because you weren't smart enough to search on the internet and figure out how much EVO's sell for. Come on kid, give it a rest already. If it makes you feel better and helps you relieve your jealousy, then yes 45k is ridiculous amount to pay for an EVO but considering the source and your motivations, my guess is he didn't really pay that.

Either way though, no one cares so stop dragging your junior high gossip discussions on the board.

Thanks for the little bit of backup I got from that, although I am under 20, I just want to build up a turbo car before going on the something like an Evo, unlike other people, I'm not quite sure I'll be able to handle myself very well with a fast car like that.

But ANYWAY, NaorisG, you're right, I don't know you, but I know if I did, I probably wouldn't like you. I'd probably hate your guts because you talk crap about your "friends" over the internet to people that don't even know them. If you want to talk about them, grow a pair and do it to their face? Instead of dissing him for it, why don't you worry about getting your Evo [hopefully for less money than he spent] and making it better than his?

So the sole purpose of this thread is to embarass your friend? Damn. If I were him, you sure wouldn't be getting any rides in my 47k evo, overpriced or not.
