Hi, I'm looking for a red plastic positive battery terminal cover. I either need the part number or if someone has one from a part out or anything. I closed the hood on mine after jumping a friends car and its in pretty rough shape.

I was also wondering if it is necessary to have it at all, I've jimmied it back on for now but I would much rather replace it or get rid of it.

Any input would be appreciated.

i broke mine off when closing the hood once too

u dont need the cover, just dont rest anything across it that is metal or anything

you should DEFINETLY replace it. it covers the fuse in the terminal connection,play safe and replace it.

 

i cut mine to fit my power wire for my amp... no problems should be caused if you dont have it
