I just had a 3M clear bra installed on my car over the weekend, and after picking up the car I drove over to my uncle's house.

When I get to his house I go into his garage and see his 03 BBY Evo.

And.......


What I noticed is that the exterior black plastic molding around all the four windows and the B-pillar have a gloss polished finish.

I look at my 05 and see a totally different matte black finish.

I touch my molding just to see if it was just dirty, but the same results.

Maybe Mitsubishi cut back on the clear coated plastic for the 05 Evos to offset the ACD and 10.5 hotside

Maybe it's just me.


P.S. I wish my digicam was working; a picture would show the difference.

I think it looks better in a matte finish. Gloss

 

i like the gloss better. It matches better with tinted windows..

 

So you have the same finish on your 05?
