Evo 9 Production Run Differences?

Hey everyone-

I was getting ready to get a new MR from South Coast, but I have been trouble selling my '03 Evo and I really don't want to mess with a long distance trade in (I'm in Iowa). Originally, we were planning on getting a GSR with SSL, but my wife decided she could do without the sunroof, especially for the better ride of the MR.

Once nice thing about getting the MR is that the local dealer has one, in the color we want, and they will sell it to us at invoice. Yes, that's about $1600 higher than southcoast, but we will save shipping and tax on our trade in, so it really turns out to be a wash (if they will give us a decent amount for our trade... taking it down to find out).

Anyway, the question is this- Have there been any tweaks or changes to the 2006 models over their production run that anyone knows of? The reason I ask is because this car has been sitting on the lot for A LONG TIME.....

Thanks
Robb

Thanks for the info - Any idea what this may or may not mean, or how I might be able to tell if the car has the new or old?

Thanks
Robb

Its more than likely a change due to supplier issues vs. an improvement or 'fix' due to a balance problem.
