Dont waste the money unless youve got the money to waste.

It can be had for about $850-$900... look around the vendors.

Great exhaust, I just changed it out though because it was just too loud for daily driving.

I'm not sure why you'd want it anyway when it gives the same power but costs as much as a full TBE even before the price increase. For $1150, you can go low 12s...

Well, he could want it because of the way it looks, sounds, brand... etc.

Now don't get me wrong, you're right about the price and than you can get a full TBE for the same price (from another brand)... but I think the practice you have of telling EVERYONE that you dont know why they want this or that part because you dont approve is getting kind of old.

If it were up to your way of thinking, everyone would drive an EVO with the same exact mods it seems.

No offense of flame intended, I respect the fact you have good information and knowledge on the EVO, but I think everyone is entitled to mod their own way.

It's not everyone...it's everyone who gets something stupid for a stupid reason while paying way more than they should. There are tons of exhausts that are fine and that I approve of...there are multiple BOVs, multiple MBCs, multiple cam brands, etc etc etc, so it's not a matter of having the exact same parts on every Evo. There is just no reason to get a titanium exhaust unless you're in a race class that only allows cat-backs and where every ounce of weight savings is necessary to compete. Other than that, it's a waste of money.

I see where you are coming from, in the end though I just believe its all up to the end users personal desire... I mean, how many consumer goods can you think of which people pay more for to suite their personal taste? Just a generic example if you catch my drift.

good saying both....but at the end of the day it still depends on the buyer...weather he is willing to pay a little extra for his desire and taste..not everyone likes wasting money, as for me i'd go for the TBE!

The price of commodities like Titanium and Steel have been going up steadily over the past few months. Titanium spot prices in particular has been up a lot, nearly doubling in just the first 5 mo of 2006. In just the past month, titanium prices are up nearly 25%.

If other parts makers have not yet raised their prices, they will have to soon due to increased materials costs. If you plan on buying something like a titanium exhaust, now is the time to do it before prices rise even more.

Its not a waste of money of you love the way it looks or sounds. I for one am not about to get an exhaust which to me sounds like crap just because its going to save me $400.

I ran the Greddy for a wee bit, bugger was way too loud though but I will say it looks fantastic, build quality is top notch and installs cleanly and aligned perfectly.
