1. grounding kit - not really a necessity unless planning on doing some audio work
2. exhaust - go with Greddy Ti Cat-Back, Helix DP and straight pipe
3. BOV - not really a necessity, maybe a MR JDM BOV
4. headers - get a bigger o2 housing too. Megan headers o2 housing combo seems to work well and cheap.
5. camshafts - HKS 272s all the way
6. any other suggestions you may have - You need a manual boost controller, Walbro fuel pump, lower IC piping, and custom tune from TurboTrix

You should have around 350-370whp depending on the Dynojet

Wanna get real fancy? Get an Alky kit and 400+whp here you go... Ofcourse at that point you'll need at least an ACT clutch.

exhaust wise i'd stay away from helix...that is a shady company and is just like ssautochrome imo...greddy ti is gonna cost some money and is just weight saving...a basic ss exhaust from rmr, bushar, ams is the best way to go

bov on the viii is plastic and will leak so i'd check out some HKS, Greddy type-s, tial but they have to be recirculated or u will stall and have problems

Headers aren't really nesessary but i'd go on ebay and type in EVO Dump tube and it will bring u to the 02 housings they hep alot!

cams i'd go w/ HKS 272/272 but if u do cams u have to upgrade ur fuel pump and while u do ur cams i'd throw in the apr head studs and maybe some cam gears for more percise tuning

other stuff...if ur gonna do cams and exhaust i would do the clutch as well like an act HDSS clutch w/ a prostreet or act lightened flywheen also an intake from bushar, aem or HKS , get a boost gauge (autometer, DEFI BF, Stewert warner), and a boost controller (HKS EVC, Forge MBC, Hallman MBC) , and then get the tatix (sp??) cable and dload ecuflash and let al @ dynoflash send u an e-flash for your car and ur set...if u want more after...upgrade ur injectors and get smc or coolmist alky injection !!

I hate to be one of "those guys", but seriously... search! If your interested in exhaust, just type in "best exhaust" and you will have hundreds of posts to chose from. I've managed to get all my questions answered without ever posting a question just by searching. I'm not flaming you, but it would be alot easier than waiting for replys.

Before you get flamed by like a half a million people I would ask the mods to delete this thread. Thats the best advice I can give you man. Then pm warrtalon about what you should do.

Race Evolved, have you even tried to search yet? You asked for the most basic information that has been discussed a sickening number of times. I'm also not too keen on some of the suggestions so far. Suggesting all this HKS and Greddy stuff makes my head hurt, and the fact that your ONLY MOD is a K&N Typhoon, which is the ABSOLUTE WORST POSSIBLE MOD you can put on your car, is giving me a stomach ache. Tack on the fact that you actually are getting a grounding kit and go so far as to ask if one is better than the other just really finishes everything off nicely. Since I feel bad for you, here is the blueprint for inexpensive, reliable, proven power:

- Warrtalon/Buschur Stage 1 (Buschur Turboback, Forge Unos MBC, Forge RS BOV, Walbro Fuel Pump, Boost Gauge + Pod, Dynoflash)
- Add GSC 272s ($440 from Total D)
- Get a Buschur stock ported/coated exhaust manifold, a stock ported/coated 10.5 turbine housing, and coated stainless steel o2 housing
- Add a Buschur Lower Intercooler Pipe
- Add SMC Progressive Alcohol Injection
- Finish it off with a Buschur Race FMIC
- Then toss in a custom Dynoflash on top of all this to get you close to 400whp/400wtq along with switchable maps for ECU

You don't need any titanium exhausts HKS/Greddy BOVs.

And finally, what in the hell do you mean by "turboback or cat"? You either want a full exhaust (turboback) or you don't. Get whichever you want...

You aren't tuning anything, and instead of asking for help, you should be searching, because we've already GIVEN THIS HELP TO 1000 PEOPLE! After you search for hours and hours gathering tons of info, THEN you ask questions that are more specific.
