lower intercoller piping

i havent really been able to come across tomany threads where people are talkin about lower intercooler piping. i asked about the buschur LICP but they said that it does not fit the 9s....... whats one that some of you have gotten and hows the fitting on it?

There's many many threads with IX owners using the AMS licp. The reason why the BR LICP doesn't fit is because it replaces the turbo outlet pipe, and since the IX compressor housing is different, then the BR outlet pipe on the LICP doesn't fit. The AMS LICP just CONNECTS to the stock outlet pipe without replacing it.

is a bigger licp neccesary...i mean how much power could you expect from this upgrade...If its for response(shorter route) then i can see the difference but could it help a lot?

Please search. This is common knowledge stuff. 7-10 whp is expected along with a few hundred rpm gain in spool.

It gave me 1.5mph higher trap speed at the track with LICP and UICP and off course the spool up was improve as well.
