I know man, I was just teasing you. Advanced timing on most cars is going to give you a little more power, MIVEC probably works off of a reference point, so the effects are probably the same. But the ECU doesn't like it, so it will probably retard the timing even more for safety. Its not something I would want to let go and ignore and I would baby the car out of boost and get it back to the service department ASAP.

I was just saying that there's no question you should take it back and not consider driving with it like that at all. But the redneck in Japan bit was funny.

That's what I hope it's doing. That's another testiment to the IX's ability if that is in fact what's going on with my motor.

I wasn't taking any offense either by the way... I take a lot of ribbing everyday from my buddies in the helicopter community.
