Flashing Question.

I have an HKS Turbo Back Exhaust, say I get my car tuned, will the exhaust note change or become louder? Will the idle change? Will the car be rougher during idle? Will my car back fire more, shoot flames more, etc?

I was going to, but the first time he stiffed me and said he had to go to NC at the last minute, when I had an appointment. The second time I told him to call me and tell me the overall price, since I was getting a boost controller, flash, and dyno time. He never bothered to.

So basically, to avoid headache, I will just get DynoFlash to do it.

Wait, you're not too far from me. I used to live in Orlando. I was born in Winter Park Hospital. Maybe you know this guy personally and could help work it out?

You will pay about a 1/3 the price for a Dynoflash on your IX, and your car will be very fast. JestR does good work, but the EcuTek is just too expensive.

The answer to all your questions above is "no."

No, he is on tuning trips every weekend, so he only does mail-ins during the week. This weekend, he will be tuning all 3 days of the holiday weekend in Chicago. All 3 days are booked.

You can find all this info on where he is each weekend in the Dynoflash forum if you are ever curious.

Exactly how often do our cars shoot flames? are you serious? When exactly would this happen, under high RPM's or what?

When you have a test pipe and run rich, it will shoot flames between shifts when the unburned fuel is ignited.
