Come on, man, be serious. Why would you think you got ripped when the INVOICE PRICE of an MR is 34.7k? You're saying that after a few thousand dollars of tax, tag, and title, you still paid less than invoice price? That means you got the car for less than South Coast Mitsu offers, which is _HIGHLY_ unlikely (dare I say impossible?).

how much trade in value did the dealer give you for your VIII?

and what did you pay for your IX (interest rate too if you dont mind )?

Im seriously thinking about trading in my '04 VIII for a WW IX non MR w/the ssl package. The dealer wants $35,XXX for the IX but I dont think I want to pay more then 31K, maybe 32K out the door

Check out these prices...

what really sucks is Im actually from Cali but the military brings me to the wonderful Fayetteville where every car dealer thinks they can charge you an arm & a leg for the car you want and are super hard to negotiate w/ because so many military "newbies" pay whatever the dealer asks for most of the time.

oh well, its off to the dealer to see if I can work some magic, hopefully my next post will be "picked up my IX today!"

cheers

Get it shipped. PM evolution_4_all and he can give you the company that will ship it. Hopefully it's not too expensive.

ummm, i dunno... im not sure if it matters but i did trade in a car(04 is300SE), so that might of helped on the price. I definetly got my IX MR for 34.5 OTD, with a 22.5K trade in value on my lexus.
