evo8 for evo9 - what did the dealer give you?

this is for all you evo9 owners who traded in your evo8

how much trade in value did the dealer give you for your VIII?

and what did you pay for your IX (interest rate too if you dont mind )?

Im seriously thinking about trading in my '04 VIII for a WW IX non MR w/the ssl package. The dealer wants $35,XXX for the IX but I dont think I want to pay more then 31K, maybe 32K out the door

Whenever you trade a car in, the numbers they tell you are rarely what actually happens. They rob Peter to pay Paul, so whatever responses you get in regards to trade-in value and purchase price will not be that reliable.

Definitely be sure you don't pay more than 32k at this point for a IX GSR w/SSL. You can get MRs for 34,XXX at regular places (not referring to South Coast Mitsu).

I have a question.
what if they offer 32534 for a SSL Evo 9
is it worth it? that's before taxes.

South Coast is of course cheaper so I'm not mentioning them

I'd say 32.5k is pretty good. That's probably close to invoice price. Invoice on an MR is 34.7 after destination charge, so 32.5 for a IX w/SSL is pretty good for any place other than SCM.

Base GSR invoice is probably 29,xxx or so, but the SSL adds 2-3k.

Need to know what you paid for the new car for this to be meaningful.

Know what other dealers are charging and if they wont work with you just go somewhere else. You can have a car shipped from southcoastmitsu for cheaper than that.
