Hello everybody,

Sorry for the late notice; I just recently learned about this board.

SpeedTrialUSA has an instructional road course driving day Saturday, April 19, at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, MI. Our events are aimed at all levels of drivers and cars, so there is something for everybody. GingerMan Raceway is one of the safest tracks in the Midwest, but is technical and fun.



This event is $135 for the day which includes intstruction for all levels of driver and also your tech inspection. We will be running our groups in 20 minute sessions, so you will have more track time than you will know what to do with! Arrive at the track at 7:30am, Drivers meeting at 8:30 am, first session begins at 9am.

Hey guys this could be our first Midwest evo club meeting

 

Hey gtr, I might be there, I just pm'd Brian to get some info (Helmet rating, rain-out refund (suppose to rain), count towards the SCCA license, etc.). Get a hold of EVOlunchbox to see if he is up for it.

 

Sound's Cool, No rain outs. We drive wet . I would think the track hours would count but i do not know the detail for that. It'll be fun to meet everyone and learn how to drive

 

Yep, we run rain or shine. Rainy days are extremely good for teaching smooth car control.

In the past, SCCA has accepted hours from our events, but we are not technically affiliated with them (yet) and thus they do not have to accept the hours. I hope to work this out with them soon.

Our events bring out great people that are enthusiastic about cars and have an appreciation for them. They will be happy to meet you too.

Gingerman is a fun and very safe course! I was there last year with my ITR and had a great time!
