gauges for my evo 9

now i am going to get gauges for my evo so i wanted to know if a Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge was the same as a Wideband 02 sensor?

For example:
Megan Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge:

AEM Wideband 02 sensor Gauge:

Wow....

Please do more research before modding your car....

No its not even similar, wideband measures the air/fuel ratio, egt is a temp reading at your exhaust manifold.

"I" think the only important gauges any evo owner needs are:

Boost
Oil Press.
EGT
Wideband

Thats what I got and that seems to be what the tuners look at the most

But again it all depends on what you are using your Evo for........ Street?, Track?

ok and since you have those gauges. what do you have a-pillar tripod with steering column mount or a different way? or did you keep the stock gauge set up with something else? because i was looking towards a tripod a-pillar but most people say it becomes a blind spot. and the setup is for both street and track and maybe some Auto X.

Gauges will help a professional tune a vehicle; reading your post its obvious you are not a professional (no offense). No gauge combo in that case will help you "get the best tune." My advice is get oil temp, oil press., boost, and leave the tuning to those who know the game.
