It all depends on what size DP and TP you get. If you get a 3" set up then i will help the spool up a little bit but you have to remember your exhaust is only good as the smallest diameter.

*edit*
nevermind i didnt read right! Im sure the test pipe and downpipe will help out, but you still neck down into the smaller diameter stock catback system, theres probably something in maybe a 2.5" thats compatible with the stocker.

What he means in run a DP,TP and then follow it up with the catback exhaust, which doesnt include the actual cat.

It's recommended to start at the back of the car and move to the front with exhaust components, however you'll definitely gain some power by replacing the stock cat.

It would just be a waste of money. I recommend spending that money on fixing your CAPS LOCK key.

Adding an axel back would do a bit in freeing up some hp. The stock muffler is pretty restrictive..

Dont waste your money on just an axleback. If you want to keep it simple at least pick up a catback.

Get a megan racing turboback with test pipe for around 550 bucks. Leave the silencer plug in and your car will sound pretty quiet and it will be faster. It will be less conspicuous and unilkely to annoy the police. Then take out the plug (2 screws) when ya wanna go fast and make some noise.

You'll see some gains just by replacing the cat with a test pipe. Not sure if a downpipe in conjunction with a test pipe and stock catback would be worth it though. I still have my stock downpipe and stock catback and saw some gains just by replacing the cat with a test pipe. Stock catback is still restrictive too...
