EVO IX Cabin gets really hot..

Hey guys, I have a question. I bought my EVO IX GSR last week and I love it, anyways when the car gets warmed up the cabin gets really damn hot and stuffy. Like a freakin' oven. I closed all the vents and it's still hot. Do all EVO's suffer from this issue or is it just my car? I open my window and I can still feel the heat coming from the car.

BTW, I live in San Francisco the weather is like 60-65F everyday.

any input guys?

I noticeed that too, when my thermostat is at the coldest level and my vent is on to get air from the outside the air is warm.

If I open the windows the air is cool outside. BTW I also live in SFO.

try and move your temperature knob down to blue even if the fans/deforst is turned off. or turn on recirculating air when everything is turned off. if your knob is on red, even though all the fans/defrost are turned off that warm air will still naturally come through the vents when they are "closed". to get no air to go through the vents, turn on recirc with all fans off.

Is your problem hot air still, or just air coming through?

Air always leaks when it's off UNLESS you turn it onto MAX a/c and then off. That turns on the recirc and air doesn't pass through into the cabin.

If you're complaining about hot air coming through with the car on, then it's just a DSM problem, the air is never really cool... but no car I've driven really pushes cold air unless it's cold outside.

hot air all the time it seems like, even the one time i used the AC it was still hella warm.

I've owned 2 DSM's and never had this issue.
