I am so jealous. I have a 2003 hyundai tiburon, that I bought last april, so I didnt know the EVO8 was coming out then. Had I known, I would have waited and bought one. But if I traded it in now, I would lose my ***. I have the v6, so I guess its better than nothing. Anyway, I talked to my dealer about trading my tib in for the evo8, and they wouldnt even talk to me or let me test drive it unless I filled out all the paperwork FIRST! I was like, WTF?!? im not buying a car that I cant even test drive first. Anyway, Nice to see all your cars on here. they look awesome. If you live anywhere near Rockford, IL look for a carbon blue tiburon that is lowered and with sidemarkers and an HID kit. Its probably me. Say hi, not alot of tuners out my way. Im 25 by the way.

yep, and you know what pissed me off the most. My family has bought 4 cars from them all together. My old saturn, my sisters saturn, and two of my moms mitsubishi's

another quickie question ... what track do you go to for autox? are there any around?

 

im not selling it anymore actually. decided to keep it, although once the WRX STI comes out, I may get rid of it. And as far as autox, the only track I know of is in rockton, I believe, but its freakin expensive as hell.

 

Don't blame you for chooseing STi. I'm probably biased but i have the feeling that the evo is the better platform/suspention setup "strut/multilink". But I feel the Subaur is the better deal with auto climate, front and rear LSD, DCCD. and forged wheels. I care less if it's a 6 or 5 speed. I just car about strength.If you decide to get a front LSD on the evo it'll be about the same price as the STi.

I feel there is hardly any hp difference if running on high octane for the evo unless the subaru is underrated. If both cars are available at the same time i'd probably pic the subaru because it's a better deal and i feel mitsubishi took advantage of us by stripping ACD/front LSD. You can't go wrong with either cars and it's always going to be like a mustang vs camero debates.

I can't believe the antenna is even different from the JDM GSR. The stupid thing hits when i open my trunk. I'm getting it changed to a S2k antenna today!

I think i have become quite biased with the evo... i am impressed with the way the STI is going to turn out. I really wish the EVO had the auto AC and the forged BBS wheels..i wont be getting any of these cars for at least 2 years so we will see what happens. I wish we could get some of those JDM accesories like the indash LCD screen
