A question to evo pro. Only

Hi every body
I just bought an evo ix but non US spics.
What is the first thing to do or to take care of ?
And who to increase the HP (to 400 hp) effectively without affecting drivability for about 2000$

As far as taking car of the car goes, just keep a regular maintenance schedule and don't beat on the thing. Have plan for you modifications and have it tuned properly to match those mods. I don't think you will make it to 400hp with only $2000.

400hp or 400whp? 400hp is possable with $2k, but 400whp is going to take some more money.

Like the gentlemen above said... for $2K you aren't going to get 400HP but with a IX you'll get pretty close. The normal mods like MBC, intake , exhaust, fuel pump, and of course tuning will run your money down fine and you should get somewhere in the 330 hp range (wach car is different so my numbers are of course speculation) . But with som other mods like cams, alky you should get pretty close to your goal. Welcome on and good luck out there.

If it's a JDM model, the FIRST thing you want to take care of is the speed limiter. They cut quite aggressively at 180kph. That would be about 110mph.

Either get an HKS SLD or get it flashed.

As for 400hp, good luck.

p.s. why is this pro. only?

1. Get a complete turbo-back 3 inch exhaust system.
2. Send your ECU to Vishnu in California, or another tuner that you trust.

That will end up costing you a little less than $2000 and will net you around 50 more whp than stock on pump gas.

Not sure how easy it is to buy my packages from Saudi Arabia. I concur with the above suggestions for reaching 400 CRANK HP:

- full exhaust
- mbc
- flash

After that

- LICP
- header
- o2 housing
- alky

Y'all Dubai guys r crazy...lots of exotics n money out there. I was there twice this winter/spring. Very nice area and very friendly folks. anyway 400 at the wheels depending on the brands and places u purchase from will run from 3500-6000+ u.s. or about or 12775-22000 dinar (i believe thats your currency there and the exchange rate at 3.65 to 1 u.s.)
