I went to the Chicago Auto Show and the guy there gave me his card and told me he can put me in one in October for a little over 30 grand.
But I personally thinke he won't be able to do that until october but the price seems resonable. If it actually will be october of this year I will be mighty surprised.
For pics of the EVO VII Jap. Spec at the auto show go to my photoalbum

A dealership in Houston also said the Evos would be here in September. A mechanic at the place said maybe even earlier. But I think we've learned to take anything regarding Evos with a grain of salt.

You know, I really wouldn't be surprised if the Evo where to come out late this year. After hearing all kinds of rumors, getting all kinds of info and sifting through it in order to get rid of the crap, my gut instinct now, tells me that Mitsubishi will be making some offical and more definite announcements very soon. I'm pretty sure everything (specs) has been finalized and almost ready to go, it's just more a matter of executing a smart marketing strategy in order to maximize sales potential against the competition. But that's just my gut feeling that's talking right now,...... or it could be that chili bean soup thing I just ate.

Yup, Gillman. I talked to the one on the northside off of I-45 where I got my car. There's a southwest one too, which is ironically barely minutes away from where I live. Sorry didn't mean to turn this into a Houston thread...

Sorry to be slightly OT again.
Autobot, I went to the NW one, just like you did. I HATE the one in SW. Those sales people suck big time.
The sales person took my name down and he claimed the EVO to be here in Sept, although I think I should know better than him...

hi ssgoku
I'm going to try and find his business card again, but he seemed like an employee of a dealership in the Chicagoland Area. They always tell you crap. But as soon as I find it I'll post his name, dealership, adress, and phone # here.
