How many have had to "beat" your downpipe

in order to make it fit in some places? I have the Turbo XS down pipe and it hit on the heatshield and those black bars that run underneath the bottom of the car too. Even after spacers we had to heat and pound little dents in the downpipe. Then after putting on the UR test pipe it changed the posistion of the down pipe and forced us to beat it out so it didn't rub on the transmission. Am I alone on this one, my downpipe looks like it has been through a war .

1) That's a funny title... "beat your downpipe"... hehe

2) I had no real issues with the Buschur downpipe, and it was one of the first ones they made.

I haven't done it yet but will need to do it with my Helix...it rattles against the TC at times.

I have the TurboXS downpipe and had the same problems as you. What I did was get some threaded connectors to use a spacers. They are about 1/2 - 5/8". I lke the downpipe but do not like how low it sits.

You might contact TurboXS and see what they say. I would like to know.
