i love the way the nipponese build things like that.

over here, we just use mandrel bends, and crank it out quick. over there they use straight tubing, and do those pie cuts to make a constant radius bend. NOT for the faint of heart, and not a quick build, either.

i'd bet they mocked that up piece by piece with the front of the car off. only real way to get things to fit properly.
