hey guys...
in about 9 hours i will be picking up my brand spankin new evo 9...i have 2 booked for me...i have to make a decision...and i have 9 hours to do so..

EBP or Black?!

PLEASE HELP!

 

edit: for those who dont know...EBP= Electric Blue Pearl

 

EBP is the best looking color ever IMO, I absolutely love it everyday I see my car and others always comment on the color of my car.

 

EBP.

Black is for those that don't have lives other than washing their car every day. =P No offence TB owners. It's still a sick color.

 

How about you make a decision based on your own opinion rather than trying to get the color the majority wants you to get....

 

black. i never really liked ebp even tho it does like good in a few pictures. almost looks purple, the acura rsx vivid blue pearl is what blue is supposed to look like.

 

Get the EBP

i've seen the blue, and about a month and a half ago i had to make the same choice as the OP.

i went with black no particular reason, i just always had black cars....i have a black s2k and black mr2 turbo as well

but then again i went to the showroom to finish some paper work..they had just received a black one...it looked nice..very nice..made me think twice about the blue although i thought i was determined

It's a tough decision. I was going through the same thing when I bought my evo. The thing that I considered when buying my car is that the evo has alot of different contrasting colors on it already. Silver front mount with black hood vent, silver rims, red brembos, black window trim, and of course the carbon fiber wing. The black doesn't accent these colors at all. IMO every other color does but black. When I saw the EB evo on the showroom floor I was blown away. My dad didn't care for me buying an evo as my first brand new car until he saw the eb and he was sold. The only problem with the blue is that it stands out alot especially when it's freshly waxed. I don't regret buying my eb evo at all. I like the attention that it gets and I never been pulled over for some stupid reason. Mainly because most Illinois cops know what an evo is. However whenever I see white evo now I begin to wonder if getting the eb was the best choice. Hope this helps!
