I'm going with a custom exhaust made at a friends shop in Los Angeles. www.rennermotorsport.com Its going to be very quiet and 3" all the way through.

He's also going to make me a side exit section to swap in for track days. Yes.... its loud as hell.

I like my Megan Racing exhaust, its not to loud and flows well, 3 inch all the way through. The only problem was the fitment on the first dp, i had to go swap it out because the first was rubbing.

IMHO, Tanabe has a great exhaust system for the IXs, I got the Concept G Blue, which comes with the 2.75 Downpipe, fits perfectly on the IXs and you can even wrap it with no fitment issues... the test pipe, which is a 3 inch, and the catback with the heat resistant tip... a really good setup, not too loud during daily driving, but if you want to give it a rip, it's right up there with other brands. Also consider this, most exhaust systems will cost you around $1300 for everything, this exhaust system is a COMPLETE TURBO BACK... and yes, you really do feel the power gain. If you wanna know more, go to tanabe-usa.com... they even got a video for you to listen to the exhaust... pluse from the back it's a dead straight system... so it ALMOST looks like stock, except for the tip.

I would get an X02 Racing from ebay. It is 249 plust shipping for a full turbo back with test pipe. Quality and fitment are just as good as the $900 and up TB exhausts. It sounds amazing too.

I am on my 3rd exhaust!!!!

Go with the quietest w/ solid construction, i.e. Fujitsubo RM-01a ...It was very stealthy and sounded decent.

Do it right the first time. Something that you can live w/ everyday.

Agency-Power catback with a 3inch DP and cat delete
JIC spartan Ti with their DP
TurboXS turboback with no cat

there are a few others, but im unsure what to get. Ive posted and searched about exhausts so many times and cant seem to find one im really sold on.

i have an IX MR, so it has to fit that perfectly and i will also be using an IX JDM bumper shortly, so it needs to fit well on that.

please throw out any comments about the above exhausts and any others you may think will be good for gains and fitment.

I DO NOT want something crazy loud, so NO greddy Ti comments or Amuse or JunBl. All too loud IMO.

thanks

matt
Did you ever arrive at an answer? I am going through the same thing and it seems no one wants to really answer your questions. The biggest pain is the whole JDM bumper.

]I'm looking too. Important that the down pipe (DP) will accommodate the ACD line. The sound I'm looking for is a "THROTTY" sound like from a FORD SVT. Any idea Gents?

damn ... Its finals week and am looking for an Exhaust ... I am getting the TURBOXS TBE with downpipe for 725 shipped .... Although i really like the Greddy Ti Catback..... Greddu Ti looks ugly after putting on it X number of miles.. hard to keep it clean + it will burn the bumper

A guy that i know from another forum has the TXS TBE with test pipes ... and hes highly recommending it

SO.. am going to get the TXS TBE and get over this dilemma of picking the exhaust system

took me around 3 months to pick an exhaust system for my 350z. as soon as i picked the right exhaust system for my Z.. i decided to trade it in for an EVO
