Picking an Exhaust is a NIGHTMARE!!

well, of all the parts ive had to choose for the evo, the exhaust is the biggest headache!!!

so many damn options and styles and sounds and blahhh

im debating between these:

Agency-Power catback with a 3inch DP and cat delete
JIC spartan Ti with their DP
TurboXS turboback with no cat

there are a few others, but im unsure what to get. Ive posted and searched about exhausts so many times and cant seem to find one im really sold on.

i have an IX MR, so it has to fit that perfectly and i will also be using an IX JDM bumper shortly, so it needs to fit well on that.

please throw out any comments about the above exhausts and any others you may think will be good for gains and fitment.

I DO NOT want something crazy loud, so NO greddy Ti comments or Amuse or JunBl. All too loud IMO.

thanks

matt

I like the way how it sounds, but I'm curious, did you make it stick out that much out of your rear bumper or is that how its supposed to look?

its just a pipe, just pick one that you like the sound and has constant ID from one end to the other aka no bottle necking

You don't have to be sorry

Not many mods. Just the TBE, drop in filter, MBC, 255fp, dyno-tuned by Al on Buscher's dyno. Keep in mind by the time I went full throttle, the car was already like 4-4.5k rpms; at those revs the trubo lag is pretty much non-existant.

i appreciate the post of the Buschur stuff, but i need an exhaust that angles and fits the JDM rear IX bumper.

the JunBl looks real nice, but sticks out a loud and im told it is quite loud from david buschur...

are there 2 different turbo XS exhausts? my friend has the turbo xs and it's not too too loud. Much quiter than the Helix tbe, thats for sure.

Buschur is the lightest and best performing - made in USA and sounds great
