currently the standard...
MBC, TBE, intake, Walboro, and flash...
what do you guys think i should do next to see the most power ? i know the exhaust cam is going to come into play...but, without going there... and not going with alky or anything like that... what do you suggest the next few mods should be and why ? thanks
also, i have searched and have my own ideas, im just mainly interested in the why opinion.

i will stick with the set up u have.......maybe cams,,,,,,,,,if u go beyond that,,,,,,,upgrading aliitle bigger turbo or alky kit, u ll blow the stock engine eventually no matter how good tune u have due to weak piston,,,,,,,it s just the matter of time ,,,,dont expect to last too long,,,
the BEST way to make big power and realiable set up would be do the engine work...
i would just drop my car to buschur or ams, let them do the all the wrok at one shot.
get a loan about $20.000 and u will have 10sec car with very reliable set up ,also depends how u drive,.,,,,,,,,

thanks for the input so far... i think i am going to go with the 02 housing and licp next... should only be about 350 for both... what suggestions for licp... i was looking at the ams, but the buschur lower pipe looks like it has a bit bigger size.
If you're going to take off the o2 housing think about the manifold too. I am going to tap my manifold for an egt and its recommended to take it off, so since I'm going to be in there for that I figured I might as well do the o2 housing. If you do the regular ebay one is close to $50-$75 and the buschur manifold is roughly $200 after you send your core back to them so its not that big of an investment.
For licp I know the AMS one fits the 9 from other posts I've read, or if you can find just the Nisei licp but they usually sell it as a package. I'm still waiting for Buschur to make something that fits the 9...I know some people that have it on but when I called Buschur they said its not a direct bolt on yet.

The Buschur LICP doesn't fit the IX, because it replaces the outlet pipe, and the outlet pipe is designed for an VIII. The AMS kit doesn't replace the outlet pipe, so it just mates up directly to the stock IX outlet pipe. Do that LICP plus the Buschur coated o2 housing, then port/coat both your stock mani and stock hotside (or buy them used, have them ported/coated, install them, then sell your stockers).

Dude, yesevo, you need to stop spreading your crap around. Just because something bad happened to you because of modding doesn't mean it's going to happen to everyone. I've see you spreading this filth through several threads without giving any relevant information and it's getting old. There have been plenty of people running well over 350whp without any problems, so why do you insist on telling everyone that they WILL have a failure if they do so?
because i m doing it for all evomembers out there,,,,,,,,,,,i want people to know what danger behind on modding ,,,,,,,,,,, many sponsor is encouragin to sell their product to make money without telling people the truth!
its not only me who blow the piston ,,,, one of evo tech says he knows 6 other evo owner broke the piston ...... its a common engine failure due to weak piston.........
