Well instead of cluttering other threads in which people didn't exclusively ask for that information, why don't you start your own thread and save everyone else the headache?

 

How big of a gain is the ported/coated hotside on a ix? I thought the ix hotsides were the upgraded ones?

 

I'm very sorry to see the demise of your engine, but If it's so common then how come I've NEVER heard of it before reading your post today? Although I've only been involved with my Evo & this site for les then a year, I've read and watched as much about the Evo as I could find and have never come across this before.
