QUOTE=Z_Lancer_Man]I know of some people who drive EVOs in Canada. The way they do it is they have a family member, like an Uncle, who lives in New York. The uncle bought the EVO in the US, and registered it in New York. But then "gave" it to the nephew who drives it in Canada. Totally legal [/QUOTE]

i need to find a way to drive an Evo up here...

secondly, I don't think anyone here is "that" up to snuff with trifficing cars IN to canada. Go ask some local Jap car importer up their.

there are 2 legal evo 8 in Canada currently that are registered to Canadian owners.
they were sneaked in 2003 before customs realized what happened.
another Evo 9 in Toronto area, an American citizen going to school in there,
and another in BC area with Washington plates on it....

4 is all we got so far....

You are not funny Bill.
And about Evo in Canada, the problem is not about getting the car there. The problem is getting it insured. No company in Canada will cover it. And driving it without insurance is a major fine up there.
I still have family in Toronto and drive my Evo to visit them every so often.
Actually my brother used the Evo for his wedding last year, too. It was kinda cool that he insisted on that instead of renting a limo :}

What kinda redneck ignorant comment is that? Your dumb for talk so much smack when you have probably not even gone to Canada and only know the comfort of your sisters arms. Think before you talk and get a domestic because you act like a domestic mustang type.

I have have family in Connecticut. Would they be able to help out in any way. Is it possible to register the car down there? Lets say my cousin registers it in his name and I'm added as a second driver, or something?

Canadian women are smokin' hot. I feel sorry for you if you haven't been to the Toronto area. You're missing out.

I live in Chicago, and I managed to score a chick there.

Anyways, why would you get an evo in canada anyways....
I'd get a Skyline GTR personally, better overall car.
