For future reference, search on these topics. Chances are any question you have about your evo in the next 6 months have been discussed at least 10 times on this forum. Search before asking.

AMS imo. I have one and couldn't be happier, great fit, sounds great, not too loud, but aggressive, nice idle grumble to it, good power increase. Dont know about Buschur but I really like my AMS one. I will buy it again when I get my 9.

I got the ams and I think it looks better than the buschur but not all the welds were the cleanest I have seen. It is also very loud but all in all it is a great exhaust

When it comes to exhuast NOTHING can touch the proprietary Buschur Bullet muffler design with its ultra light weight construction and nearly staright direct flow routing to the back of the car

I am the ultimate testimonial having gone 9.98 in the 1/4 mile with an off the shelf Buschur 3" exhuast system

Buschur is the best exhuast you can buy at any price - the fact that it is also very reasonably priced and made in usa is a huge plus also

Huh? How can Devo "make" the same TBE as both Buschur and AMS when those two exhausts are different? That didn't make sense.

As for deciding between AMS and Buschur TBEs, they are both very good, but the AMS one costs $200 more.

When you ask a poll like this you will get a lot of biased opinions, just go search both of them and see what the owners have to say. When you search you can also find pics on both of them.

I have the AMS exhaust, and couldn't be happier. I have put it through the ringer, open-tracking for the last 3 years. No problems AT ALL. I think the more important question is what your long-term goal is for the car. I bought, and stayed with AMS through the whole process. I couldn't be happier, and the more I buy from them, the more I am taken care of. Just a thought.

I have heard the AMS exhaust in person and I think it sounds very nice. I haven't heard the Buschur exhaust so I couldn't comment on it. I am in the process of deciding which to get, and these two are on my short list as well.
