Cops with nothing to do are pulling people over in San Mateo County

I get in to a seperate conversation with the motocycle cop and he was a cool cat but needless to say my car was searched. I have small and useless fix-it issues like front lisense plate and headers that I've been meaning to take out anways. So at the end the dumba$$ cop not the motocycle cop, he added and said that "I don't know why you guy's always give me a hard time?" So, I reply back with " what the hell did you just say", " what do you mean by YOU GUY'S?" I also told him " so how are you not profiling me with that satment?" He then says, " Mr. Shaw, look your going on what 30yrs old now and your driving this car." Now I'm really pissed and I told him right in front of the other officer you need to shut up and get on your way with some other business because you have not once said anything right." Anyways, this is my recent story and I would like to hear others if you've been in this situation or good advise if you have any. I have a month to fix my issues with my car and see the State Ref to sign-off on the ticket.
I do it all the time to the cops that give me BS. I have nothing againsts cops, but for those ****ing corrupted mother ****ers... (suck a fat one) I will talk **** to them as much as I please.
Once this bike cop pulled me over after I accelerated quickly to avoid catching the red light (while in the middle of the intersection). Anyway, he tried to get me on exhibition of speed, which, is total bull**** because I was not racing anyone. He asked me to pop my hood and I told him to **** off and find something else better to do, and he told me that he was going to put me in jail and all other kinds of bull****. I told him that I was sick and tired of stupid cops like him that abuse their rights.
I forgot to mention that I was not speeding at all, I was under 25MPH, but, since I was in teg and vtec opened right in front of him, it was loud.
Anyways.. The cop ended up telling me "look all I'm trying to say is slow down and be safe" lol.

Not neccessarily true, a cop can walk up to any car and ask you if he can have a look- if you say yes, game one...but you can also tell him to stop at anytime, and if he doesnt, he is infringing your rights.

This is the most important thing at work here. Cops can't perform searches without reasonable cause. The cop has no idea if your car has a modified exhaust or not without actually hearing it. So any cop that pulls up behind a parked car and wishes to search it is just profiling, which is illegal. We have 5th ammendment rights that the police infringe on everyday, and most people let them get away with it when they should instead get a lawyer and go after them.

Ive been getting harassed somewhat around here for my exhaust only. Luckily, I happened to know the chief of the one town and he told me it would happen again and it hasnt. They just give you a $56 "loud muffler" ticket here in NJ.
The situation in CA seems to be very out of control and just outright pathetic. Give me your keys? Youve gotta be kidding me. Someone said it before, someone should video tape the WORTHLESS harassment and put it on the National News. They eat that sh*t up.
If you accept what they are doing its only going to get worse, you have to make a stand somehow. There has to be some young gun lawyers around CA that drive imports. Just wait until they get harassed by a moron popo. Fireworks baby.
As someone mentioned before, yes this is IMPORTS ONLY. They pull me over for a loud exhaust but 5-10 mustangs with 3" no cats goes by and they dont flinch. Its the god damn hondas with fart cans that have caused this problem to be honest.

it was illegal to search w/o a warrant - should've gotten a badge no. and double check your state laws and if violated any rules report 'em...can't believe he got you walking out of the car though...

i see a cop on the other way waiting at the light and he saw me and turned around.. needless to say he pulls me over. i asked what was the problem he reply " first license and registration" the reason i`m pulling you over for is your window tint is too dark! " haha i have had that window tint for 3 years! 26% in south florida! the tint is realllly light! you can see inside the car at night! "
anyways he ran all my info came back and told me he would let me go with a warning.. but i had tofix my tint!
well my wife is pissed! so she asked him " isnt there a tool to messure the tint %"
he came back with the tool and messured my window 26% and he told me the legal is 28% and in fact yes its 28% the legal limit but 2 % difference! thats why you pulled me over! go find drug dealers or real criminals you A$$H0L3

Come on guys, Cali people are known for being ahead of the curve. Get a stock evo and outfit it with one of your dads cameras and mic and drive around and start recording these events. After 2 or 3 of these get it on the news and in the hands of a cali lawyer, it will stop. Fight cheesyness with cheesyness.......I guarantee after the chief see this on the local news, it will stop quick. Its time for you guys to unite and fight back!!!!

question. Why does california have the most stringent emmisions testing and standards of any state?.........seems kind of senseless to try to infringe and raise the standards of vehicles in one state...when there are 49 others that have very lenient standards.
