+1. I've had zero issues with my comp 272s as well. My car idles pretty close to stock. (I have modified the idle some with ecuflash) In my experience, the comp 272s don't idle as choppy as the HKS 272s do- even w/o tuning.

theres a local here that has 280 comps on stock valvetrain w/o problems

i never said they were required. just in my opinion from looking at the cam specs, i personally would upgrade them.

That revolver cam thread awhile back makes me think this way. I personally have no expierence with comp cams
