kinda afollow-up to my tranni issue. If u missed my last thread, i blew holes in my tranni... somehow???? I was on the highway and it just happened. Either way, after doing some research i figured it was my front LSD at 1st since it was making noise while turning. Im not to sure what it was exactly, but after researching i think the front diff is in the t.c. is the VCU in the tranni??? (VCU for center diff),.

Its not a tranni its a tranny, unless you have an RS or MR you have no front LSD, you dont blow holes in your tranny from driving on the highway in a normal manner....... as for the "VCU", I don't even know if that is a part on any car.

basically if your car is under 60k miles it's still under powertrain warrenty. good luck...it might be your transfer case.

only FYI...you have an open differential not a LSD in your front.

 

all this smack talking and this statement i bolded cracks me up. it's funny how people are quick to talk smack to noob's. i mean i'm new on this site too, but am not stupid... and i know what VCU is, and i only have one EVO... lol.
