I don't know if the EVO is going to change performance wise, but i know all the 04 lancers are getting a new front facia and headlights, hopfully they leave the EVO alone becuase the new lancers are kinda ugly.

Good question... I wonder when the 04 EVO will hit stores??? Most 04 cars come out during the summer/fall.

This version of the Evo didn't even come out until Feburary, what makes you think that is going to come out with next years model even sooner? My guess is that it won't be here until about the same time, in '04.

.

Perhaps a USDM 8.5 RS version to take the crown from the STi This way would take the performance and paper specs. Limited edition rs for racers

dude, i highly doubt they will do anything of the sort mainly because of the price of the sti, which is essentially the same price as the current evo, they would have to sell the RS at the same price for any kind of competition and that would **** of a LOT of current evo owners, including myself.

Sure the RS will be cheaper. Remember it's more track oriented. Perhaps ACD, Front LSD, Optional A/C, No radio, Cheap antenna, non color mirrors, and the only thing that is powered is the engine . Perhaps no brembos, 15" wheel throw aways? But 6-speed with titanium turbos? Us version would probably be a hybred like our "GSR". Not quite. We'll find out but from the paper war we are loosing against STi. Lets face it if all of us know nothing about either car the STi offers more on paper so it's a better car/value but most of us know about the hand welds and superior strut/multilink setup. Actually both cars are too close to compare after Subaur made so much improvement they finally caught up. My opinion anyways.

I wonder if they will boost production numbers? I know I am craving one in 2005 when I can trade in my Eclipse 3G with a year to spare on the lease (don't ask I had gotten hosed on a previous deal before the 3G, so I had to take a hit).

Please, increase production numbers so dealers stop these hideous mark-ups.
