Hey guys I was just curious as to how different the Evo 7 is to the Evo 8. All i want to know is frame and suspention dementions. What i'm trying to do is buy an exhaust for an evo 7 and put it on my evo 8, as well as intake, and BOV.... From what I can see the specs look very similar. Any ideas?

 

Exhausts are the same according to vivid-racing.. they are selling EVO7 exhausts and have bolted them on to an evo8..

The Evo 8's 5 mph bumper is bigger and longer than the Evo 7 so you will find that any exhausts for the 7 will be a little short so you run the risk of melting your bumper.

 

what about the intakesand BOV's? They look identical, i'm assuming they are the same

 

Intake plumbing and BOV are interchangable. You can add a short extender to an EVO VII exhaust tip to make it work on the US EVO (8)

 

only differences between the Evo 8 and 7 are cosmetics and AYC and ACD. The bumpers, being part of the cosmetics would extend the front and rear a bit, but not much.
