Even though the ECU has the capability to hold multiple maps, no one has found a way to easily switch between them. To run multiple maps, you'll have to have the car tuned with both sets of variables (with meth /race gas and without for example) and hook up your laptop and Tactrix cable to switch between the maps when you want to change them. There is currently no other way.

EDIT :: I'm thinking with the stock ECU. It is possible with aftermarket options. Sorry for the confusion.

Not meaning to start a war, but, you could use an XEDE. I really don´t know if it´s available for the IX or not, though. The XEDE has the capability for switching between maps.

Im looking to do the same thing. I was looking into the Utec but it seems less than supported I think. The greddy emanage allows this too, but the tuning forum for it on evolutionm is virtually empty. I just want a simple ECU that switches maps and allows stock-like tuning via pc (with tactrix of course, thanks ecuflash!)
