Hi there ! I am new in this group. I just bought an evo 7 gt-a which is converted to 5 mt by previous owner according to 7 gsr spec. I found the ayc pump is dead. I want to change the Ayc pump and became to know that evo 7 gta ayc pump is different than 8/9. Difference is in the number of solenoids. Can someone tell me what is the exact number of solenoid in ayc pump of 7 GT-A? Also need to know about the 7 diffrential as well. Does it have lsd or not? Thank you.

 

if it still has the AYC rear diff and the ACD central lock then you need a 3 solenoid pump... those are found on JDM and EUDM evo 7,8,9 but if you are in the states you can look for evo X pumps.. Those are not a direct fit, as it is oriented a bit differently.. but can be made to work.

you can also overhaul the pump you have.. which is probably the best solution

 

My car is a JDM version. Problem is I am in Australia now and my car is in Bangladesh. I will be in Bangladesh in March 2017. My parents bought the car for me. Thats why I dont know the exactly what Parts I should take from Australia to Bangladesh.

 

get a JDM 3 solenoid ACD/AYC pump from evo 7,8,9

even if you have a passive rear diff you can always blank off the pump outlets, but if the drivetrain is stock you will have the AYC rear diff and ACD centre diff so 3 solenoid pump is the one to have..

you should have no trouble getting those in AUS

 

Is AYC pump of 7.5 GT-A different?
