Some events (Road Racing, drag, whatever) in which both EVOs and Subarus have participated have just utterly been a complete embarrasement for the Subarus. If this were a boxing a match, it would be total domination by the EVO with a couple of good of quick combos being thrown in by the WRX/STi/STI. Your cars have thus far proven nothing, have not changed one single brain cell in my head into thinking Subaru is a worthy opponent. You keep hang your hats on the same damn cars, three years ago it was ESX, two years ago, ESX, it still is f*cken ESX. Today's event is yet another example of Subarus talking sh*t and never backing a single thing up. If I were Mr. Buschur I wouldn't even invite you guys back next year, what's the point, your cars don't show up and the ones that do all suck (even though they claim to be fast). Nothing in my opinion makes me think the cost of throwing such an event is worth your attendance, maybe a couple of guest Subarus can be invited, but the rest of you stay the f*ck home! Well have a EVO vs. something else competition. I hope the NJ event is better, and please evoloser, go to your precious nasioc.com forum and proven power bragging (proven where?) and tell those muthaf*ckers to put up or sh*t up! You guys bring your so called big dawgs out, and ours as always will show up, and we will end this once and for all, if this can't happend, then you guys are no longer worthy of anything in relation to an EVO!!!!!
you're completely retarded. how many Wallys have the subarus won? how many have the evos? you guys are grasping at these small evo vs wrx events that only the internet geeks like you are aware of. meanwhile, the subarus are well-represented in SCCA, GT racing, NHRA Sport Compact, One Lap of America, any rally events in America and in the WRC.

Subaru is well-represented in actual professional races while all you've got is a Mitsu-sponsored drag event. and you even lost one last year.

in the meantime, we've got a full interior drag car that has run faster than any full interior evo. a stripped interior stock chassis subaru that runs faster than any stripped interior stock chassis evo. and a tubbed drag suby than runs faster than your tubbed drag evo.

get your head out of your *** so you can see the facts.

Agreed, with BV boating their car over there should be better competition. Anyone know if the factory backed esx is going to show up?

ESX posts their race schedule on their website, if any evo wanted to race them they won't be hard to find.

an ESX-AMS rematch would be a good battle.

Evokiller the guys on here for the most part don't know about the NHRA/NOPI drag racing with the weight rules etc.
Julie Stepan ESX has a 3200lb WRX/sti that runs full interior an auto and radials and goes 9.1 and has gone 150+mph. As of right now no mitsubishi at that weight can touch her on radials.
It is what it is eh.

Her min weight this yr checked after every race is 3200lb+ or she gets dqed.

www.nhraimport.com has results for the races.

i know. i'm not here to start trouble, but more than anything, just spreading info across the pond. there's so many evom trolls that just run to nasioc and have no clue what times subarus are running.

anyways, i think the AMS evo will come close or even surpass ESX eventually. once they spray it.

I don't think you will ever see an AMS vs ESX match as the class she runs is a 3200lb class, while the AMS car is now around 2650 with driver when setup for the NOPI Pro 4 Class.
The AMS car will be alot faster in the future as they have big power and very light weight.

All of you are stupid period. having either a STI or EVO and drag race with it is a waste, the car wasn't design for drag races anyway. It was design for rally/road racing.

They did not show up at the NHRA race here in Denver, unfortunately...

It was 1 of only 2 events on their June schedule - not much to look at there, and I guess you can't count on them showing up.

i believe ESX puts a ballast in the trunk to meet the weight requirement.

AMS can do the same, altho i don't know how they will control the car with radials, seeing as the slicks aren't even enough.
